The Glasgow Shawlands (formerly Galsgow South) Martin and Co office was established in 2002 and covers the whole of South Glasgow including Shawlands, Mount Florida, Battle field, Pollokshields, Crosshill and Giffnock. It is located on Kilmarnock Road close to the Pollokshaws East Train Station and the other Estate Agents.
We have a team of six experienced staff and are qualified from the Association of Residential Letting Agents. We have up to ten years local market experience and are proud Gold Award Winners for Best Letting Agent Scotland 2010 and 2011 at the ESTAS awards, We were voted by our landlords for the awards, which reflects the high level of service, knowledge, satisfaction and skills we offer our customers. Pamela is our property inspector who ensures that all properties are maintained to a high standard through tenancies and she also makes sure that all properties are marketed correctly on the various websites.
Nadia is the maintenance coordinator, she is on the ball 24/7 to deal with all repairs.
This area of Glasgow is mostly a mix of residential suburbs with many residents commuting to central Glasgow for work. The area offers an abundance of amenities including shopping centres, supermarkets, health centres, restaurants and night life venues. Our landlord profile is split to around 65% private landlords and 35% buy to let professionals with a portfolio of properties. Our tenants are mostly working families with some students and corporate. Battle field, Pollokshields, Albert drive, Crosshill and Giffnock are mostly commuter towns with excellent links to Glasgow Central.
