The Dundee office opened in June 2009 and is situated in the Heart of the property sector within the City Centre.  Our letting service covers Dundee City and the surrounding areas including , Broughty Ferry, Monifieth, Carnoustie, Invergowrie, Forfar, Liff, Tayport, Newport and Wormit.

No stranger to property, Susan has worked extensively in lettings and has been a Landlord herself, giving her a good understanding of landlord expectations.  She insists her staff have the same high level of expertise. 

 

With a strong customer service background, Susan aims to deliver the most professional lettings and property management in the area and endorse the award winning customer service Martin & Co is known for.

 

Louise, our newest addition to the team also has years experience within the industry having previously worked within Estate/Letting Agency and also for the Professional Referencing Agency (Homelet) who we use to reference all of our prospective tenants.  She is very hardworking, dedicated and enthusiastic.

Promoted as “the city of discovery”, Dundee is the fourth largest city in Scotland.  It has been home to many tools of scientific discovery like the RRS Discovery, Robert Falcon Scott’s Antarctic exploration vessel which is now a major tourist attraction and berths in the City Harbour. Biomedical and technological industries arrived in the 1980's and the City now accounts for 10% of the United Kingdom's Digital Entertainment Industry. 

 

There are two universities, The University of Dundee and The University of Abertay.  This brings a lot of students into the area and demand for student accommodation.  Good employment opportunities and great motorway links to Aberdeen and Edinburgh make this a great area for families and we have a lot of professionals who commute to work.  

 

There is a high demand for one and two bedroom houses so they are a good investment for landlords in the area.  We have a high proportion of professional landlords with a portfolio of properties as well as private landlords who could not sell due to the current climate.  We work hard to develop a good working relationship with all of our customers and our landlords respect the local knowledge we can give them.
