The Cheltenham Martin and Co office is just off the high street in the centre of town.  We have been trading since 2005 and cover all of Cheltenham including Montpellier, Lansdown, Tivoli, Charlton Kings and Leckhampton.

 

We are members of the NALS (National Letting Scheme) and the Property Ombudsman.  The Cheltenham office is an active part of the community and is a member of the GIN - an Independent Networking group for Gloucestershire.

The Cheltenham team

We are a family run business owned by brothers David and Antony Lynall who have been local to Cheltenham all their lives and have a wide knowledge of the area. Both David & Antony are precision engineers by trade and have implemented strict systems and practices to their lettings process. They pride themselves on providing first class customer service with great attention to detail, so important in this industry.

 

Also in the team is Liz Miller who joined in early 2007. Liz is in charge of admin and referencing and keeps us all in check with her attention to detail. 

 

Rose O'Connor is the lettings negotiator and spends most of her time doing viewings or keeping up to date with the rapidly changing stock on our websites. Rose has been with us since  2008 and has fast become a very dynamic and approachable member of the team.

 

Alex Buser is the newest member of the team, having joined the office in May 2011 and he looks after day to day property management, dealing with our carefully chosen team of contractors. Alex also does the progress chasing for new tenancies and most of the routine property inspections.

Sitting on the edge of the Cotswolds, Cheltenham is a beautiful area with loads happening throughout the year.  Its home to the flagship race of British steeplechase horse racing and The Gold Cup, which is the main event of the Cheltenham Festival. The Times Cheltenham Science festival is another big annual event which attracts lots of visitors to the area and The Cheltenham Festival of Food and Drink celebrates local organic cuisines and attracts top chefs. 

 

There are a good choice of schools and colleges in our territory that achieve great results including, Balcarras, St Edwards, Cheltenham College, Pates Grammar School and Dean Close School in Landsdown.  Cheltenham is a couple of miles from the M5 which runs north to south connecting the area with Bristol and Birmingham.  Gloucestershire Airport is just the other side of the Motorway which offers flying lessons, pleasure flights and trips to the Isle of Man and Jersey.

 

We are always looking for quality property to satisfy our extensive database of corporate, professional and private tenants.  There is a high demand for rental property at present with demand far outstripping supply. We work hard to develop a good working relationship with our tenants and landlords through good communication and respect. We have a policy of not adding anything to contractor’s bills or receiving commission on any property maintenance.  Our landlords are a mix of private, overseas and professional buy to let investors and we tailor our service according to the specific needs of each and every one.
