At our Cardiff Office you will meet Mike. He is the Director who bought the branch back in September 2009. Mike has lived in South Wales for 15 years and has a background in Sales and Business Development. Cardiff Bay formerly know as the Docks or Tiger Bay is rich in history. It was once one of the largest coal exports in the world and the docks grew into a cosmopolitan community with sailors and captains and dock workers from all over the world settling here and making it there home.
Its estimated that more than 45 different nationalities settled in the area at the time.
The coal industry was booming in the 1800’s and the price of coal hit an all time high and that’s when the worlds first million pound deal was made. That deal was signed in the coal exchange building where people now go today for concerts and gigs.
Over the years the area changed but then in 1987 came the biggest change that the city has seen in a very long time. Cardiff Bay was born!!!!
Cardiff Bay is one of Europe’s largest waterfront developments and is a wealth of leisure.
Mermaid Quay, the hub of the Bay is home to all the bars, restaurants and cafe shops. Here you can dine and party the night away until your hearts content its also home to some of the cities best apartments.
There’s so much to see and do in Cardiff Bay, whether it be a night at the opera in The Welsh Millennium Centre or taking in some history at some of the local art galleries.
