The Braintree team

The office is run by Associate Director Lyn Sirkett.  Lyn has always had an interest in property, working for a number of letting and estate agents providing professional inventory services.

Lyn commented, 'I understand the lettings industry from both being a Tenant and a Landlord.  Over time I became an experienced landlord. The lettings market appealed to me because it is about providing a high level of customer which I believe is critical when looking after a landlord's asset and a tenant's home ."

Our experienced Letting Agent, Stephen Frost is a Fellow of the ARLA (The Association of Residential Lettings Agents).  Stephen owns the Braintree & Witham Franchise as well as Chelmsford.  He has 15 + years in the local lettings market and has spent his entire working career in the Customer Service Industry.  This allows us to give a consistent service to all our Landlords and Tenants alike.

 

Charlotte Frost, Stephen's wife, is responsible for all the administration of the office, although currently on maternity leave. Charlotte has over 17 years of outstanding customer service experience having previously worked in a local Solictors. Having high levels of customer service is important in the lettings industry it makes the lettings process a smooth one from the moment you contact the office to the moment you move in.

Braintree is a lively, bustling market town located in north mid-Essex central to the nearby major towns of Chelmsford, approximately 11 miles to the south, Colchester, approximately 17 miles to the east, Bishops Stortford, approximately 18 miles to the west and approximately 53 miles north of central London.

As well as being close to Clacton’s beaches Braintree is just a short drive away from the artist, Thomas Gainsborough’s beautiful, rural countryside of Suffolk.

Freeport Braintree www.freeport-braintree.com located on the outskirts of the town is the Uk’s largest outlet shopping villages and offers a more comprehensive retail experience, with a cinema, bowling alley and a modern leisure centre www.dcleisurecentres.co.uk .

 

Transport  Braintree benefits from the region’s excellent transport network being conveniently served by the A120 road which bounds the town to the south. Access can be gained to the M11 motorway, approximately 16 miles and 26 minutes by road and to Stansted Airport www.stanstedairport.com to the west providing a host of destinations across Europe and beyond.

 

Further afield to the south the M11 motorway allows access into London and to London’s ring road, the M25. To the north, the M11 affords access to Cambridge and the A14 road. From the A120 road to the east access can be gained to Colchester, approximately 17 miles and 30 minutes by road and further afield to Clacton’s beaches and the Port of Harwich www.harwich.co.uk approximately 40 miles. Further afield, London Liverpool Street is an hour from Braintree on the Great Eastern Line service www.nationalrail.co.uk with trains running approximately every 30 minutes during peak commute times with a direct route into London. The area is also well served by the local bus networks.

 

Education  Braintree offers a good selection of both primary and secondary schools www.essex.gov.uk . (Essex County Council School Admissions tel - 0845 6032200.) Notley High School, Notley Road has been graded by Ofsted as an “outstanding school” www.ofsted.gov.uk www.notleyhigh.com .
