We are an experienced team that prides itself on getting things right for you first time. Angela Newark is the Director and overseas the general day to day work of the team.

 

Angela has a property portfolio of her own which is what brought her in to the lettings business 5 years ago when she opened Martin & Co Bradford North. She can advise you from personal experience on which areas and types of property to buy for the best rental returns.

 

Carol Stubbs is our Lettings Manager, she has many year’s experience in lettings both with Martin & Co and one of our corporate competitors. She provides market appraisals for new and existing properties, advises Landlords on rental values and suggests improvements to maximise lettability.

 

Charlotte Johnson, provides viewings, and administration, she has a wide range of experience and expertise.

 

Julie Ward, is our Lettings Development Manager who has a strong background in marketing and business development. Julie is helping us develop the business to the next level. 

   

Emma Field works closely with Sukhbir offering support with property maintenance, renewals and deposit refunds.

 

Sukhbir Memhi is our Property and Accounts Manager, he ensures that all rents are paid to landlords within 48hours of receipt and that property maintenance, deposit refunds and tenancy arrears are dealt with promptly and efficiently.

Live and rent in Bradford

Noted for its welcoming atmosphere, the city of Bradford has much to offer a potential visitor. The city boasts, among others: the country's most visited museum outside the capital, The National Media Museum, which houses several cinema screens and a gargantuan Imax cinema alongside the exhibition spaces; The Bradford Industrial Museum which showcases all the key events that guided Bradford's pivotal role in the Industrial Revolution; two significant art galleries - Cartwright Hall and Salts Mill - which exhibit both modern and classical art (Salts Mill is home to the largest collection of works by David Hockney in the world).

For those seeking some culture of an evening, Bradford has several theatres worth visiting, such as The Alhambra - the city's main theatrical venue that puts on many big-name shows - and The Studio - a smaller space used for more experimental work. 

In terms of nightlife Bradford takes some beating with many good quality pubs and clubs to choose from, and so, although much of the city centre itself is now dedicated to commerce and industry, you won't have to look far for a good time; in fact some of the city's night-spots are virtually legendary on the club-scene.

As a city Bradford could be said to be sports-mad, with a rich heritage in Rugby League especially. The city's team - The Bradford Bulls - are one of the most successful clubs in Rugby League, both nationally and overseas, and commands huge and fanatical support. Bradford City FC, on the other hand, struggled in the top tier of English football and were relegated to The Championship a few years ago.
