Live and rent in Alsager

Alsager is a beautiful town in the South Cheshire countryside. Originally a small village, the name is associated with three sisters of the Alsager family who built the Christ Church in 1759. With a current population approaching 13,000, Alsager borders the city of Stoke-On-Trent to the north-west and the railway town of Crewe to the east.

Alsager sits close to junction 16 of the M6 motorway and is served by Alsager railway station which is on the Crewe to Derby line. Buses run through Alsager to both large towns of Crewe and Hanley on a regular basis throughout the day.

Regional route 70 passes to the west of the town, this links Alsager with Sandbach, Congleton and Rode Heath.

It is a popular environment in which to live and work but is also a valued commuter route for many who work in Stoke-On-Trent, Crewe and the surrounding areas. Alsager Mere, the focal point of the town can be the starting point for a tranquil excursion into the South Cheshire countryside.

Alsager boasts a popular market history holding a town market every Wednesday and a farmers market at the beginning of each month. A leisure centre and golf course offer plenty of activities for the budding sports enthusiast.
