The Abingdon Lettings office is an ARLA accredited office. Located in the centre of town just off the main high street, opposite the Co-op and Post Office, we have a large shop front so that we are easily found.

Our office has been trading since January 2010 and we cover Abingdon, Didcot, Wallingford and Wantage and we have good knowledge about the areas.

We work closely with the Oxford & Witney office, sharing customer leads and local knowledge to improve the quality of service we can offer our tenants and landlords.

We try to help you the best we can and encourage customers to come in and talk to us about your specific needs.

Our ffice is ARLA accredited with full client money protection insurance in place, to give our clients piece of mind their business is safe with us. We also have senior staff who are NFOPP fully qualified, which again means our clients know they are dealing with Property Professionals.

Maia in Sales found us the ideal rental property, then Kelly in lettings found a great tenant all before we completed. The updated works are booked & tenant moving in. Great work from all the team.

Sharon Self — Sales & Lettings Director

Sharon is the Director of Martin & Co Abingdon, and is responsible for the day to day running and development of the Abingdon business, ensuring that the office is always efficient, effective and customer driven at all times. Sharon has over 10 years experience within the property industry, and over 20 years working in Finance and accounting in medium sized businesses. She is available to all new and existing Landlords offering expert advice on the Private Rented Sector, current legislative responsibilities and market conditions. As a landlord herself, she in very in tune with what a landlords needs are, and will strive to ensure all these needs are met by herself or her team. Sharon is NFOPP qualified, and a full member of ARLA, she is also a Martin & Co award winner for having developed & grown her business above & beyond other that of other Martin & Co offices in the UK during 2012.

Kelly Virgo — Lettings Manager

Kelly is our Lettings Manager here in Abingdon and has been with the business for a number of years. She joined us with extensive knowledge of the lettings industry and over 13 years experience of lettings & property management. She is very pro-active and has built a good working relationship with both our tenants and landlords. She thrives on giving excellent customer service and ensuring both our landlords and tenants are happy with our service. She would like to talk to as many new landlords as she can to understand what their needs are from their agent, as she feels we can always exceed their expectation.

Shaun Smith — Property Manager

Shaun has recently joined the team here in Abingdon as the Property Manager after transferring from a different franchise within Martin & Co. Shaun has over 8 years experience in the property sector and enjoys the residential Lettings and Property Management side of the business. His main objective is to look after your property during the tenancy and be the main point of contact to answer any maintenance or tenancy issues and thrives on delivering a good service to landlords & tenants to maintain a good working relationship.

Philip Self — Inventory Clerk

Phil is our expert when it comes to inventories & checkouts as our Inventory Clerk. He is APIP qualified under the umbrella of ARLA which will mean he is fully compliant with ensuring both tenants & landlords have an equal representation when it comes to resolving any disputes at the end of a tenancy. He also assists the Property manager in resolving management issues and inspections.

Maia Thewlis — Senior Sales Negotiator

Maia is our Senior Sales Negotiator. Maia has a strong sales background, has worked with property sales for a number of years and is passionate about helping people make the right decisions regarding their sale and purchase. Maia believes in consistently working hard to ensure that her customer service is above and beyond what you expect and understands that when buying or selling a property nothing is more important than a service you can trust and rely on. She is here to complement our strong lettings team to offer an all-round service which we hope will surpass that of all other agents in the area.

Emma is our Lettings Co-ordinator and has a legal admin background, supporting Hayley with admin & property management work.
