The Abingdon Lettings office is an ARLA accredited office. Located in the centre of town just off the main high street, opposite the Co-op, we have a large shop front so that we are easily found.
Our office has been trading since January 2010 and we cover Abingdon, Didcot, Wallingford and Wantage and we have good knowledge about the areas.
We work closely with the Oxford & Witney office, sharing customer leads and local knowledge to improve the quality of service we can offer our tenants and landlords.
We try to help you the best we can and encourage customers to come in and talk to us about your specific needs.
Our ffice is ARLA and NALS accredited with full client money protection insurance in place, to give our clients piece of mind their business is safe with us. We also have senior staff who are NFOPP fully qualified, which again means our clients know they are dealing with Property Professionals.
With a Property Management background & long standing experience as a Finance Manager, Sharon delivers a high level of property management, with prompt response times to calls and use of local, reliable contractors with whom she has built up good relationships. Landlords can expect speedy payments with detailed paperwork and a fine tune ensuring delivery of the best service any landlord or tenant can expect to receive from her & her staff. She takes great pride in her work & her office, motivating her staff to deliver only the best service.
Kelly started working for us early last year and is now our Senior Negotiator. She comes to us with a wealth of lettings & property management experience. She is very pro-active and has a good working relationship with tenants, landlords & has fitted in well with helping lead our team.
Donna also joined us last year as a part time negotiator, with an excellent background in managing customer services and proving herself invaluable in delivering a high standard of customer service to our landlords & tenants alike.
Hayley has excellent customer communication skills & a wealth of experience in this area, demonstrating great attention to detail with our admin work. She has now also taken on joint responsibilty for the property management in the office and is doing an excellent job. She always puts the customer’s needs first and keeps everyone well informed throughout. Hayley works Mon-Wed inc.
Emma has a legal admin background, supporting Hayley with admin & property management working Thur-Sat. Emma is doing an excellent job in providing customers with good information on how their move in is progressing.
Bethany is our part time admin clerk with knowledge in IT and business. She works with marketing and generally assists around the office. She is always happy to help anyone with a problem or a question and encourages any feedback and is a lively member of the team.
Phil is our newest member of the team and has grasped the task of property manager by the horns. His vast experience in property maintenance is just what the landlords need, to know that their properties are in safe hands. If a property needs to be assessed for a job, or small things like changing the fuse or tightening screws need doing, then Phil can do this free of charge, and without wasting a large hole in the landlords pocket.
Abingdon is a vibrant market town in Oxfordshire, Southern England. It’s been occupied for over 6000 years and claims to be one of the oldest towns in Britain. Of course with age comes tradition and to this day the town upholds some of these. Bun throwing is probably one of the most peculiar; on specific days of celebration the town dignitaries throw buns from the County Hall. There is also a town crier, who shouts the town's news to the Saturday morning crowds.
We have had the 2012 Olympic torch last summer, which passed through Abingdon on the 10th of July, with a crowd of supporters and some of our own getting to run with the torch. We also have had a wide celebration, including a concert, for the Queens Jubilee. Abingdon is very well known for holding big and exciting events like this and always sell out quickly as many people enjoy the light and freindly atmosphere.
Abingdon now has two hours free parking in any Vale Of White Horse carpark, to attract more visitors into this vibrant and friendly town. For 2012 the Abingdon council have invested £4 million on a new and more modern shopping centre, which is planning to to be ready for the new year. And we think it will brighten up the centre dramatically.
There are some excellent pubs and restaurants catering for all tastes in Abingdon and there are good bus links to the Oxford with late night buses running from Oxford to Abingdon and the surrounding area.
There are several major scientific employers in Abingdon including the Diamond Light Source Synchrotron. At £260m it is the largest UK funded scientific facility to be built for over 40 years, with many spin off businesses creating employment throughout the area. With many key employers located in our area there are employment opportunities in many professional fields, and for commuters there is easy access to London, either by car via the M40 or M4, or by rail. The Didcot High Speed Rail line takes just 40 minutes to get into London Paddington.
Demand for one/two bedroom properties is always greatest in our territory, but there is a healthy turnover of all property.
